About: I'm an instructional designer at the Hunter College Campus School. I support the effective use of technology in schools and classrooms.

I am also keen on the role of games in education. Please find below an ever-changing picture of me. You know, just in case you were curious.

Text based gaming has been around since the very earliest days of computing. Using only text, players enter in another world, and explore, socialize, achieve and impose * in the game world. There is no sound, no flashy graphics, simply text. The good folks in the interactive fiction community offer a single-player experience (and thumping good quality writing), while the folks in the MU* community offer multiplayer text-based gaming experience!

Please accept this as an invitation to join the text-based-gaming world...there's certainly something for everyone!

Here's some wikipedia niceness:
Adventure, Interactive Fiction, MUD's and MUSH'es, and a list of many text-based gaming servers.
