Kindle / ebook reader as electronic textbook?
Friday, April 03, 2009I’m wondering if anyone knows anyone who is using a kindle as an electronic textbook?
I’ve googled, this, and it seems like most folks are testing the waters. I asked on my local listserv, and there is one school who is running a pilot. Are textbook companies are board, or are they concerned about their income stream?
This seems so logical to me - efficient, saves money and space, makes the administrative life of a teacher easier, makes available to a student a whole bunch of reliable information.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
